All State Chorus
The All State audition process consists of two separate auditions for consideration to be chosen to participate in All State in January.
1. Musicianship Test & Sight-Reading Audition
This audition consists of a paper music theory / musicianship test followed by a sight-reading audition.
2. Vocal Quality & Repertoire Audition
This audition will display the student's mastery of their selected All State repertoire. Students should strive for quality vocal techniques and a high level of musical effect during this audition as well as performing all rhythms and pitches accurately.
Any student participating in a choir class has the opportunity to audition for the Florida Music Educators Association All-State program. This event is made up of 9th-12th grade choir students from the entire state of Florida, and is AUDITION ONLY.
Students chosen to participate in an All-State choir will perform at the FMEA Annual Conference:
January 14-16, 2021 at the Tampa Convention Center
for being selected for the
2020 TTBB All State Honor Choir!
